Job Description
Woolworths is seeking an Assistant: Operations to support the store’s operational functions, ensuring efficiency, safety, and hygiene. The role focuses on maintaining smooth store operations while supporting internal departments through effective coordination, stock management, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Remove unused equipment from the sales floor to maintain readiness for trade.
Receive and dispatch stock according to company policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and hygienic environment at all times.
Conduct regular checks in high-risk areas such as fitting rooms and lockers.
Liaise with external contractors to ensure high service levels (e.g., refrigeration engineers).

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF qualification.
Prior experience in the Retail or FMCG industry is advantageous.
Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHASA) and related procedures.
