Job Description
Pedros is seeking a Bookkeeper to manage the financial and accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and support for operational and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate, prepare, and interpret financial reports

  • Maintain fixed asset registers and accounting records

  • Review accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Verify inventory and count sheets

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements

  • Manage audit processes and preparation of financial statements

  • Prepare management accounts, budgets, and variance analyses

  • Implement internal controls and SOPs

  • Liaise effectively with the operations team

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Financial Management or Accounting

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG, Fast Food, or Retail

  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Sage 50/Sage 200 or similar)

  • Hands-on understanding of accounting concepts and practices

  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication across all levels
