About the Role

Cape Union Mart International, under the Poetry division, is looking for a dynamic and customer-driven Permanent Part-Time Sales Assistant to join their Morningside store. This position is ideal for someone passionate about fashion, exceptional customer service, and creating an inspiring shopping experience.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exceed customer expectations by applying effective selling techniques.

  • Adhere to stock loss controls within the store.

  • Consistently meet individual sales targets.

  • Identify opportunities to maximise and drive sales.

  • Maintain housekeeping and uphold visual merchandising standards to optimise sales.

  • Create a warm, inspiring, and enjoyable environment for customers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric or Equivalent

    • Awareness of current clothing trends and outdoor lifestyle

  • Other:

    • Clear criminal record

    • Willingness to work retail hours
