Job Summary
Poetry is seeking a passionate Sales Assistant for its Constantia Village store. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, maintain visual standards, and contribute to the store’s sales performance in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Exceed customer expectations through effective selling techniques.
Maintain strong stock loss controls and ensure targets are met consistently.
Drive sales by identifying opportunities to increase turnover.
Uphold visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
Process customer transactions accurately, including all forms of payment.
Handle customer queries, compliments, and complaints professionally.
Build strong customer relationships and ensure an enjoyable shopping experience.

Minimum Requirements

Up to 6 months of retail experience.
Clear credit and criminal record.
Willingness to work retail hours.
South African citizen.

Advantageous

1 year of retail experience.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft).
Knowledge of current clothing or lifestyle trends.
