Job Description
The Senior Secretary (Short-Term Contract) provides comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and office management support to the Director. The role ensures smooth operation of the Director’s office by managing correspondence, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and handling stakeholder enquiries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage documentation for the Director’s office.

Manage the Director’s diary and programme of activities.

Attend to requests directed to the Director’s office and provide general administrative support.

Maintain effective recordkeeping systems.

Facilitate communication and logistical support within the office.
Minimum Requirements
-
Education: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) plus National Diploma in Secretarial/Office Administration or any relevant tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6).

Knowledge of secretarial and office administration functions.
Skills and Competencies
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong communication and coordinating skills.

Professionalism and adherence to Batho Pele principles.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
