About the Role

Poetry, a division of Cape Union Mart International, is seeking a passionate and experienced Shift Leader to join their Sandton store. The ideal candidate will be driven by results, enjoy leading teams, and have a flair for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high operational standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all aspects of store operations.

  • Maximise turnover and profitability.

  • Minimise shrinkage by monitoring and addressing stock-related risks.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through effective implementation of customer experience strategies.

  • Lead talent selection, training, coaching, and retention of staff members.

  • Drive innovative visual merchandising to optimise sales performance.

  • Enforce and uphold company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Create an inspiring, positive, and fun team environment that aligns with company culture.
