Job Summary
Truworths is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator with strong fashion sense, administrative expertise, and international travel experience. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in sourcing innovative products abroad while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards within South Africa’s leading fashion retail environment.
Key Responsibilities

Source and purchase finished goods efficiently and cost-effectively.

Negotiate prices and delivery dates with suppliers and manufacturers.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Assess workmanship, suggest fabric and construction changes where needed.

Ensure all critical path deadlines are met and PLM system is up to date.

Apply trader instincts to drive portfolio growth.

Collaborate with buyers to achieve win-win negotiation outcomes.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

Experience working directly with overseas suppliers.

Strong administrative and written communication skills.

Computer literate with PLM or similar system experience.

Manufacturing background preferred.

Experience managing a sourcing assistant.

Must be able to travel abroad.
