Job Description
Purpose
Ensure all general reception duties are achieved daily while delivering excellent internal and external customer service, promoting customer satisfaction and business reputation.
Key Responsibilities
-
Open switchboard and perform general receptionist duties
-
Answer calls, direct to relevant person/department, and take messages
-
Provide secretarial support
-
Maintain inventory of office supplies and manage stationery distribution
-
Record emailed transfers and stock orders for branches
-
Maintain filing system for all correspondence (emails, faxes, quotes)
-
Manage diesel cards and monitor staff schedules (lunch, leave, sick leave)
-
Manage coffee machine and distribute coffee coins to staff
-
Manage notice boards
-
Resolve cash discount queries and verify price changes/credit slips
-
File shop account slips, stock adjustments, and staff memos
-
Type and print A4 shelf talkers
-
Participate in perpetual stock takes
-
Perform other delegated work-related tasks
Minimum Requirements

Matric or Equivalent

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Ability to handle pressure and solve problems
